Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a systematic approach used to assess the environmental impacts associated with all stages of a product’s life cycle, from raw material extraction and production to use and disposal. In the context of cement products, cradle-to-gate LCA specifically focuses on the processes from the sourcing of raw materials (cradle) to production and packaging, up to the point where the product exits the production site (gate). This methodology enables manufacturers to identify opportunities for optimization and sustainability improvements by providing a comprehensive overview of resource consumption, energy use, and emissions. The cement industry can develop strategies to reduce its carbon footprint and support circular economy principles by analyzing these impacts.

We are expanding our product portfolio with more sustainable products in market conditions where customer demands are increasing more than ever. We are conducting Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) preparations to publish Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), allowing our customers to see the environmental impacts of products during their selection process.
