We position resource efficiency not merely as an operational target, but as a strategic lever at the very heart of our business model.

We are taking comprehensive steps to certify our sustainability journey to international standards and to reinforce our pioneering role in the sector:

Global Compliance and the COWI Partnership:

We manage our circular economy practices not as isolated projects, but within a holistic and integrated ecosystem framework. Through our strategic partnership with the internationally renowned consultancy firm COWI, we are following a roadmap fully aligned with the European Union Green Deal (EU Green Deal) and related international regulations. This process is enhancing our global competitiveness in low-carbon production and resource optimization.

Flawless Zero Waste Management:

We adopt the "Zero Waste" principle at every stage of our operational processes. By returning all waste arising from our production activities to the economy through upcycling and recovery methods, we minimize the pressure on the ecosystem. As a mark of this commitment, all of our plants have been certified with the Zero Waste Certificate approved by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.

Cross-Sectoral Industrial Symbiosis:

We close the resource loop by incorporating the outputs of different disciplines as inputs into our production. Thanks to the strong ecosystem we have established with flagship sectors such as mining, ceramics, iron and steel, energy, and shipbuilding, we utilize by-products such as marble waste, bottom ash, fly ash, and treatment sludge as alternative raw materials. This approach reduces the use of natural raw materials while ensuring that industrial waste is disposed of through environmentally friendly methods.

The achievements we have attained as a result of the independent and rigorous audits conducted by the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC) are among the most concrete pieces of evidence of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance on the international stage.
