Our decarbonization roadmap was approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2025, confirming that our targets are grounded in science and aligned with a 1.5°C pathway. Building on this roadmap, which uses 2023 as its base year, we are systematically reducing our environmental impacts and placing sustainability at the core of all our operations. By addressing process and energy-related emissions together, our strategy represents a holistic operational transformation. Our roadmap focuses on four main emission reduction areas: clinker, cement, concrete, and carbonation. In line with our SBTi-approved targets, we aim to reduce CO₂ emissions to 60 kg per ton of clinker and to 39 kg per ton of cementitious product.

To achieve these targets, we plan to increase our use of alternative fuels and alternative raw materials, accelerate our renewable energy investments, and integrate carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technologies into our production system. At the same time, we are implementing digital and technical improvements designed to enhance process efficiency. Through this holistic approach, we aim to reach net-zero emissions across our entire cement value chain by 2050, fulfilling our responsibility in the fight against climate change with determination.
