At Limak Çimento, we implement integrated management systems at all our facilities in order to guarantee and continuously improve product quality. Through these systems, we monitor and improve quality, environmental, and energy performance at every stage of our production processes. In addition to evaluating customer satisfaction, we also manage our product quality through national and global competitor analysis studies. In line with our production-quality goals and KPIs, we adopt a process-oriented approach that aims to maintain and improve our quality through internal product specifications and applied testing. We guarantee our quality by implementing an effective Product Quality Management Policy in production processes supported by digital applications and automation systems.
We certify the conformity of our products with national and EU standards through TSE certificates and the CE mark. Through our supplier and customer quality management processes, we regularly audit our suppliers' compliance with quality standards; we systematically collect, analyze, and integrate customer feedback into our improvement processes. Through the Limak Cement Global Academy platform, we provide our employees with regular training on production standards, increasing their knowledge and competencies. In order to enhance our product quality and reliability, we continue to develop our production processes—equipped with automatic process control systems—through the Digitalization and Excellence Center (LCOEDX), and we are making significant progress in the field of automation-oriented data analytics.
With the support of our R&D center, we aim to ensure the continuity of product strength performance by taking part in projects to develop low-carbon and environmentally friendly cement production technologies. In product quality management, we focus not only on product quality but also on making environmental sustainability outputs—such as Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), and the Digital Product Passport (DPP)—that provide transparency in product reliability visible and verifiable to stakeholders. In this context, by integrating into our system the Digital Product Passport (DPP) application implemented for the first time in the world in the cement sector, we make the environmental impact, raw material content, carbon footprint, and performance data of our products traceable and verifiable in digital form. While this approach serves as a concrete indicator of Limak Çimento's strategy of early compliance with European Union sustainable product legislation and border carbon regulations (CBAM), it also offers a reliable and data-based transparency infrastructure for customers, public authorities, and all stakeholders.
