As Limak Çimento, we regard adding value to society as a fundamental responsibility. Through the donation and support activities we carry out in many areas—from education to the environment, and from health to social solidarity—we aim to contribute to improving quality of life and to building a better future in the regions where we operate.

Access to Clean and Drinkable Water in Mozambique

Through the water well project we implemented for the Bigoane Community in Mozambique, we supported the local population's access to clean and safe drinking water. In the community, where approximately 517 people live, this work—from which approximately 80 families living near the well directly benefit—aimed to facilitate access to water, to reduce the time and physical burden spent on daily water supply, to improve hygiene conditions and to contribute to community health.

Thanks to the completed well, the project has gone beyond being merely an infrastructure support and has gained the character of a social investment that improves the quality of life of local communities and carries the potential to create positive social impact, particularly on households, women and children. Through this work, while contributing to the Clean Water and Sanitation goal among the Sustainable Development Goals, we strengthen our approach of creating long-term and measurable social benefit in the regions where we operate.

Food and Hygiene Supplies Aid in Mozambique

As Limak Çimento Africa, in order to support the recovery process following the cyclones that occurred in Mozambique, we carried out a relief effort aimed at meeting the basic needs of disaster victims. By sending aid trucks carrying food and hygiene supplies to the affected regions, we contributed to communities overcoming this difficult period. Through this support, we aimed to strengthen the spirit of solidarity and to fulfill our social responsibility.

Bed Donation to a Field Hospital in Mozambique

In support of the Mozambican Ministry of Health's call to strengthen health infrastructure, we donated beds to the field hospital in the Maputo Region. Through this contribution, we aimed to help ease the difficulties experienced in access to health services and to support the provision of solutions to society's health needs. Acting with a sense of solidarity and social responsibility, we continue to stand by the people in the regions where we operate.

Protective Mask and Disinfectant Aid to Primary Schools in Mozambique

As Limak Çimento Africa, we provided protective mask and disinfectant support to primary schools in the Matola region. Through this work, we aimed to protect the health of students and education staff, to raise hygiene awareness within the community, and to contribute to creating a safe educational environment.
