The clean energy project, of which the investment was realized in line with the 2050 Net Zero Carbon target of the Limak Cement Group, was opened in Mozambique on October 12. Silvino Augusto Jose, Minister of Industry and Trade of Mozambique, opened the power plant with a capacity of 4.8 MW, which was built within the body of Limak Mozambique Cement (Limak Cimentos S.A.) with an investment cost of 3.5 million Euros. Limak Cement Group CEO M. Erkam Kocakerim, Turkish Republic Ambassador to Maputo Hüseyin Avni Aksoy, Maputo State State Secretary Vitoria Dias Diogo and Matola Mayor Calisto Cossa were also present at the ceremony.
